What is WGO?

WGO is an international gaming group, home to a handful of clans. Our goal is to become a community that everyone and anyone can daily participate in, regardless of your gaming genre preference. There are zillions of gaming organizations across the internet, all sharing a common goal of getting gamers together. We're trying to mix these small communities together so you'll find new friends while still maintaining your clan's identity and everything about it.

If you are a clan, chances are you're feeling defensive - anyone who's populated an online community knows assembling and holding people together isn't easy. The idea of a merger can be downright offensive - why should one group fall under the rule of another, for nothing?

Actually, there's no "rule," because we're a community, not a clan. Clans here don't fall under our 'command.' We simply provide services. Little will change by joining us - the only change absolutely required is the use of our Ventrilo server. In return, we don't ask for money or anything. You get the opportunity to find new gamers to play with, and an awesome, custom designed website. This isn't messy PHP Nuke or Joomla or some other all-in-one website package, this is Newell, our website engine that focuses on active, user-generated content and forum integration.
